Zach has been adopted to a family in Dothan, AL. Coming from a wonderful foster home it was a great match that his new family wants the same things for this wonderfully friendly Basset. A place to run, a human's bed to sleep on and people who love him. Zach is a very fortunate boy.

Hello Murphy and all,
Sorry that it has taken us so long to update you all on how Duke has been doing, but it's better late than never.
So, after getting over the initial shock of having a new dog we have grown to love the little terror. we no longer keep him in a crate due to the fact that he chewed threw the one we got him that was a clear sign to us that he didn't like it. he sleeps in our bedroom with us everynight and when we are gone he does very well outside in the backyard. he loves being outside except for when its hot, then he prefers the air-conditioning. we love having him with us and are very happy that we took the chance with him. Thank you so much for all of the help in assisting us to find our baby.

He is doing wonderful and loves his new brother Moose! They play for hours together. Jem seems to be a momma's boy, like Moose, but loves his daddy very much too. Both boys like to let the baby tug on their ears and make him laugh. Their tails get to thumping and it makes the baby laugh even more. I truly feel like Jem has been with us all along.

Am I cute or what? And look at my new family. Raven & Kristjan are my new parents, but I wanted their friend, Jonas in the picture too! I am learning a new language! Raven & Kristjan speak English & Icelandic! I'm still teaching Kristjan that I'm a basset and don't "fetch" like other dogs do. So I'm teaching HIM to fetch! Thank you HDBR for finding me a home that loves me so much.

Hi, I'm Tessa, now Eleanor Roosevelt, and I've been adopted. This is my new 'Mom'. She is so very nice.......I'm a lucky girl!!!

My parents......WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a lucky girl!!! See my happy face? It's really nice when your adoptive parents are excited to see you when you arrive; it really makes you feel wanted. I get great meals, live in a fantastic home, have people to play with me, and I get belly rubs. Wonder if they'll let me try to swim in that pool? We'll see.

We Have been adopted by a wonderful family, who instantly fell in love with us and we were adopted!!!!! Is life good or what!!!!!!!

We are so thrilled to have Mabel and Harper Lee as new members of our family. They have both brought such joy into all of our lives. Mabel, being a puppy, is very active and has a vivacious personality. She and our son have a very close bond. They love to go swimming in our pool together every day. She can’t wait until he gets home from football practice after school for her afternoon swim.

Harper Lee has a much different personality. She is laid back and likes nothing more than to stretch out in your lap and let you rub her belly. She loves to sleep with our daughter and her cat, Beyonce. Harper Lee does not like swimming. She prefers to “lay-out” and work on her tan.

Hello! It's Tre, Chloe's new mommie!!! Just wanted to let you know that Chloe is doing WONDERFULLY!!!! She and her bassett brother, Oscar, are getting along well. Yes, they tend to have their disagreements but once it is over, they go back to playing. They would probably play 24\7 if they could have the energy. Chloe REALLY likes to tug on Oscar's ears!! But they chase each other around the house and the yard. She is eating well, except in the mornings. Chloe doesn't seem to want to eat much in the morning, but then when we feed her at night, she scarfs her food right down!! But we were also thrilled to get her heartworm test back that was negative. Chloe's favorite things to do right now are to lay on the couch and go to the new Prattville PetsMart. SHE LOVES PETSMART!!!! Which I don't mind because it give me a chance to go shopping with her!! But just wanted to let you know that we absolutely LOVE Chloe and we are really thankful we were able to get her. She and Oscar are a match made in heaven!!! Thanks so much for this opportunity!

I have been adopted by a wonderful couple in Salem, Alabama. I have a big Basset brother named Bama.

Our Precious Honey has been adopted buy a couple and their two children south of Troy.

Howard has been adopted to a wonderful couple in Opp, Al. Previously from Houston, Tx., these folks have taken up in Alabama. A few pictures of their first meeting with the very likeable and friendly Howard are displayed with permission.

This sweet little shy girl has been adopted to a great couple with three children. They have another dog who will surely enjoy the companionship.

Our wonderful Carter, now renamed Bruster, is at his forever home. Jacquie and Les are now the proud owners of this wonderful guy.

Handsome Harrison was driven to his forever home today and met by his new Master and Gidget. A beautiful home in the country, surrounded by pecan trees. This wonderful guy will have a great life.

I have been adopted by this really cool family. Privacy fence, this really cool son of my owners and their daughter, and a great house. The son likes to play with me a lot. I am really fortunate to have found such incredibly wonderful masters.

To all of you who were interested in me; thanks......made me feel good I was wanted.

I have found my forever home. It's wonderful!!! I am only 2 years old so I will have a long time to enjoy my new family.

They have another Basset Hound, his name is Roscoe. As soon as I saw him, I was in love. I know my foster dad was saying, "remember me???".

I will always remember my foster Dad, Clarabell and Maggie........but my new parents are FANTASTIC!!!!!!
